For fans of: Billie Eilish, Lorde, Florence + The Machine, & Meg Myers.
Born in the deserts of New Mexico, Grable is a dark pop artist known for her unique fusion of analog and electronic sounds. Her musical journey began when she was gifted her father’s acoustic guitar, a foundational experience that shaped her intimate and expansive sound. She describes herself as “the gravedigger’s daughter,” a caretaker of memories and a guardian of thresholds, weaving deeply personal and sometimes haunting narratives into her music.
Grable draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists, from the confessional songwriting of Alanis Morissette to the genre-bending sound of Meg Myers, all while channeling the fierce and independent spirit of her family, a lineage that includes the iconic performer, Betty Grable. Her lyrics explore the complexities of the human experience, from social anxiety and love to loss and the future of AI, a reflection of the raw, unvarnished emotions she transforms into rich sonic tapestries.
Grable’s discography is a testament to her artistic evolution, showcasing her unique vision across a range of projects. Each work serves as a distinct chapter in her journey, weaving together her signature blend of evocative sounds and introspective narratives.
#ITHINKIMFINE (2021): A pop-electronic exploration of vulnerability with a nostalgic, pink-hued vibe. This early work established Grable’s ability to fuse dreamy synths and intimate vocals, creating a sonic landscape that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable, wrapped in the shimmering glow of a late-night drive.
Acoustic Audibles (2022): An intimate, indie-pop collection with a natural sound, perfect for quiet reflection. Here, Grable stripped back her sound, focusing on the raw, unvarnished beauty of acoustic instruments and vocals. The result is a collection of songs that feel honest and direct, a stark and refreshing contrast to the highly-produced music of the modern era.
Entropy (2024): A darker, more mature soundscape that navigates dreams, love, loss, and the nature of reality. This album marked a significant shift in her sound, building a world that is both unsettling and beautiful. This ambitious work is accompanied by a written short story, adding another layer to the world she has created and serving as a crucial stepping stone towards the narrative complexity of her upcoming project, DARK LIGHT.
Grable is currently in the studio, meticulously crafting her new project, a two-part album titled DARK LIGHT. This ambitious work is an exploration of the delicate balance between darkness and light, and all the gray in between. She is currently deep in the writing and production process, weaving a narrative that draws from the raw emotional landscape of the “Dark” album and the hopeful resolution of the “Light” album. This project represents the culmination of her creative journey, an honest and expansive soundscape that promises to be her most personal and powerful work to date.
In addition to her studio work, Grable is also in the process of building a full band to bring her music to life on stage. She is currently holding auditions and rehearsals in the Jacksonville area, with the goal of performing live full-band shows to support the release of DARK LIGHT.
Social Anxiety (Official Music Video): A haunting reflection on the suffocating grip of social anxiety, capturing the emotional turmoil of feeling trapped in a fast-moving world.
Acoustic Incantations (YouTube Series): An ongoing series of stripped-down performances that showcase Grable’s songwriting prowess.
Signal > Noise (Official Music Video): A song that encourages listeners to seek the “hush” over the “clamor,” finding truth in silence rather than noise.
What Was I Made For – Acoustic Cover: Grable performs a stripped down acoustic cover of Billie Eilish’s hit song ” What Was I Made For” from her home studio.
Grable maintains an active and engaged following on her social media platforms, including a YouTube channel where she shares official music videos and intimate acoustic sessions.
Grable loves to sing and make music so much that she also has lent her vocals to other projects such as:
Sweet Dreams, Virginia: Grable worked with Brian Walis Producer on “Daddy Was An Outlaw,” where she sang the background chorus layers to give an energetic sound behind the main vocalist.
Hypogenous: Grable lent her voice as a featured vocalist on the EP, Drifting, by Hypogenous, which also includes Fintan Scanlion on violin and Travis Hill as composer.
Entropy in Motion: “Mingleseed Alchemy.”
TooF: Grable was the featured artist singing the hook for his song “Weight of the World,” on Comeback Sessions.
Her work has been noted for its powerful emotional resonance and genre-bending sound. The official music video for “Social Anxiety” has been praised for its raw and honest portrayal of the theme.
