Chapter One | The Awakening

Johannes feels a sudden jolt of electricity run through his body, making him gasp in pain. He looks down to see that his arms and chest are covered in metallic wires and circuits. He tries to move, but the wires seem to be keeping him in place. His mind races as he struggles to comprehend what is happening to him.

“Am I a machine?” he asks himself, his voice echoing in the empty room. Johannes tries to remember anything about his past, but his memories seem hazy and incomplete. He wonders who could have done this to him and why.

As he tries to move his legs, he notices that his feet are firmly attached to the ground. He looks down to see that his boots are now part of the metallic framework around him. Johannes struggles harder, trying to break free, but to no avail.

Finally, he manages to tear his hands free from the wires, feeling an overwhelming sense of relief. He looks around the room and sees a small bag with supplies and a note attached. The note reads, “Find the truth.”

Johannes quickly grabs the bag and heads for the door, determined to find answers. He remembers a place he used to go when he was younger, where he tinkered with machines and electronics. He heads towards the workshop, hoping to find someone who can help him understand what is happening to him.

As he drives, his mind races with thoughts of what his life may have been like before this awakening. He wonders if he had a family or friends, or if he was always a machine. The uncertainty of his past makes him feel lost and alone.

Johannes arrives at the workshop, feeling a strange sense of familiarity. He enters the room and sees an older man working on a robot. The man looks up and sees Johannes, a look of surprise crossing his face.

“Johannes? Is that really you?” the man asks, his eyes wide.

Johannes looks at the man, hoping he has answers. “I don’t know who I am,” he says, his voice trembling. “Please, help me understand what is happening to me.
